Amish Shah is an emergency physician who served three terms in the Arizona House of Representatives, from 2019 to 2024. He ran for this seat in 2024 and lost to Republican David Schweikert by about 4 points. Shah won a four-way Democratic primary to become the nominee after the DCCC endorsed another candidate. The national party has since added him to its Red to Blue program.

Thomas Feely IV, who campaigns as Jay Feely, kicked for six NFL teams between 2001 and 2014 and later worked as a CBS football analyst. He holds a finance degree from the University of Michigan and has not held elected office. Feely won the July 21 Republican primary over former state Rep. Joseph Chaplik, and is running for the open seat David Schweikert is vacating. He has President Donald Trump’s endorsement.

Little independent reporting exists on her; her statement to the Secretary of State describes her as a retired business writer, a former co-host of a conservative television talk show and a homeowners association reform advocate. She won the Libertarian primary with 289 votes.
