Yassamin Ansari has represented CD3 since January 2025 and is seeking a second term. She served on the Phoenix City Council from 2021 to 2024, including as vice mayor, and holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of Cambridge. Ansari sits on the House Oversight Committee and is ranking member of the Natural Resources subcommittee on energy and minerals.

Alan Aversa is on the CD3 ballot as a No Labels candidate after running in the same district as a Green in 2024, when he took about 3% of the vote. Ballotpedia lists his occupation as educator and a 2008 bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. Aversa has also run for the state House and a Phoenix Union High School District board seat.
