Christine Marsh taught high school English for 27 years at Chaparral High School and was named Arizona's Teacher of the Year in 2016. She served in the state Senate from 2021 to 2025, but lost her 2024 reelection bid to Republican Carine Werner. She is unopposed among Democrats this year and is seeking the seat Lela Alston is vacating after decades at the Capitol.

Jason LaForest won the No Labels Party primary with 303 votes. Almost nothing about him is independently documented: Ballotpedia lists no occupation, education or prior campaigns, and no news coverage turned up. His own campaign site says he has more than 10 years in public service and worked at the Arizona State Hospital, where he says he overhauled the budgeting process and rebuilt decades of financial statements. He is running with Clean Elections funding.

Sarah Liguori has been appointed to the state House twice: in October 2021, after Aaron Lieberman resigned to run for governor, and again in February 2024, replacing Jennifer Longdon. In between she lost the 2022 Democratic primary. She won a full term in November 2024 as the top vote-getter in her race, and led this year's primary. She holds a degree from the University of Arizona.

Aaron Márquez

Aaron Márquez won a House seat in 2024, after losing a 2014 Senate primary to Catherine Miranda. He has sat on the Phoenix Union High School District governing board since 2021. He is a major in the Army Reserve with two Afghanistan deployments, has a Georgetown degree, co-founded two veterans groups, and worked as a policy analyst at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
