Jake Hoffman
Republican · Senate
Jake Hoffman won a House seat in 2020 and has sat in the Senate since 2023. He was one of 11 Republican electors charged with fraud, forgery and conspiracy over the 2020 "fake electors" scheme; a judge dismissed the charges without prejudice in August 2026 after Attorney General Kris Mayes dropped the case. He chairs the committee that vets Gov. Katie Hobbs' agency nominees and subpoenaed her on September 16. He won reelection in 2024.

After Jake Hoffman declined the Clean Elections debate she sat for a 40-minute interview, where she backed tighter limits on school vouchers, opposed Proposition 320 and called for shifting more of the tax burden onto corporations.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, a graduate degree from Oxford and a law degree from the University of Wyoming. He won his first term in 2024, despite a challenge to his residency that claimed he hadn’t been a resident of the state for the required three years before running for office. He is vice chair of the House Commerce Committee and sits on the Appropriations, Judiciary and Elections committees.
