Michael Braun

Democrat · Senate · LD28

Michael Braun spent his career in the automotive industry, where he was an elected union steward and chaired a steward council in Illinois, and later moved into HVAC repair and management after his plant closed. He became a precinct committeeman after moving to Sun City about 13 years ago and advanced unopposed from the July 21 Democratic primary. He did not appear at the September 18 Clean Elections debate, which his Democratic House counterparts used to attack the absent Republicans.
