Mary Rose spent 24 years at Motorola, where she started as an electrician through an apprenticeship, and earned a bachelor's degree from Ottawa University in 1994. Her great-aunt, Ana Frohmiller, was the first woman to run for Arizona governor, losing by about 3,000 votes in 1950. Rose has not held public office. She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, and has called for more state money for apprenticeships and career and technical education.

Top Issues
1. Housing affordability, especially for our young people, our teachers and first responders who sometimes need to work several jobs to make ends meet. 2. Public school funding and ending the ESA Voucher fraud. We need transparency and accountability. 3. Water conservation and security - AZ is a desert, due to climate change, we are having hotter, drier weather and our water resources are being affected. We need to protect our water future.
