David Scott leads a community bank's Arizona operations and sits on the boards of Junior Achievement of Arizona, the Million Dollar Teacher Project, the Phoenix East Valley Partnership and the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce. He advanced from the No Labels Party primary with 515 votes. He attended the Clean Elections debate after all three Republicans declined, commended his Democratic opponents for showing up, and warned that restricting local sales taxes could force cities to raise property taxes or cut services.
