Bernadette Greene-Placentia is a long-haul truck driver and Democratic campaign operative who won the 2026 Democratic primary in Arizona's 8th Congressional District. She entered the 2024 race for the same seat but withdrew before the primary. She has not held elected office. Greene-Placentia says she has logged nearly four million miles over 27 years driving.

Protecting the programs Arizona families, seniors, veterans, and working people rely on, including Social Security, Medicare, SNAP, public education, and veterans’ care. These are promises that must be kept and strengthened. Restoring accountability in Washington by fighting corruption, conflicts of interest, attacks on voting rights, and insider politics from elected and appointed officials who put power, donors, or personal gain ahead of the people they are supposed to serve.
